COURAGE IS FEAR THAT HAS SAID ITS PRAYERS
Courage is a curious thing.
It seems to be the antidote to fear. It has something to do with realizing what is most important.
Some define courage as getting knocked down 8 times and getting up 9 times. I guess that would imply courage has a way of persevering, of winning the battle, of scoring the final points.
This quote by Dorothy Bernard takes us to a deeper level, realizing perhaps that there is a power bigger than our power. God, some would say, is the one who ultimately gives us courage.
Courage is trusting God more than I trust my emotions. Courage is finding strength beyond myself to face what I fear.
