ONE LINK AT A TIME

For him and others in the 1930s and 1940s it was one link at a time, never giving up, but not getting too far ahead of themselves either. And eventually, they accomplished their objective, the defeat of Hitler in Europe.
We would be wise to take this to heart in our own lives. One class at a time, one semester at a time, till we get through school. One day at a time until the baby comes to full term and is delivered healthy. One step at a time until we have run the full 5K or marathon. One page at a time until we finish the book.
Even this idea of destiny, our destination in life, is one link in the chain at a time. First the leaf and then the shoot and then the fruit.
