WIDE GATES AND NARROW GATES
Do you know the difference.
The wide gate is easy to get through. Many people are going through it.
The narrow gate is more difficult. Not many choose the narrow gate.
But, this text in the Sermon on the Mount urges us to pay attention to and choose the narrow gate, the harder gate, the less taken gate.
I am reminded of what Robert Frost said, “…and I took the one less travelled and that has made all the difference.”
If you look back over your life, you will likely notice when you choose the wide gate or when you chose the narrow gate. Either way made a difference, didn’t it?
