WORKING AS A TEAM
A single bee wouldn’t survive very long at all. But, put hundreds of bees working together in a hive and you have something quite amazing.
Tall redwoods don’t have deep roots. They send them laterally instead and intertwine with other trees, working together to provide stability and strength.
So much of life is a team sport, individuals connected with others, doing more than they can alone.
The Stetson Men’s Basketball team won a game they weren’t expected to win tonight. The other team was faster and stronger and more talented. And Stetson was missing their best player.
But, they won, anyway.
They did it by playing as a team. They passed well. They hustled. They rebounded. They spread the scoring around. They fought hard, worked together, one for all.
You and I may have our limitations. We may have stiff competition and tough circumstances. When we link up with others, we can do amazing things, like the bees and the redwoods and Stetson’s basketball team.
Who do you have that is counting on you, so they don’t have to go it alone? How can you and I work together with others?
