Against the wind.
Perhaps we can learn from the airplane or the duck or the people who have pushed through the obstacles in life.
A baby doesn’t learn to walk by just sitting there observing others walk, thinking about walking. The baby pushes against gravity, takes a risk with learning to balance on two instead of all four, developing those muscles in the legs and in their core.
Against the wind. There is a lot of “wind” in life — health issues, relationship troubles, financial difficulties, stuff at home and at work and within.
We can just sit there and allow the wind to push us around. Or we can face into the wind and step forward and get to the place we want to be.
This takes courage and grit, I know. I’ve struggled hard many times when trying to launch something. It is not easy.
But, the wind can actually help us achieve that take off, get to that destination, like it does with the airplane.
